Dit is somer en Noi gaan by sy ouma bly. Ouma woon op ‘n rots ver weg. Noi is eers nie baie opgewonde oor die kuier nie – Ouma doen vreemde goed soos om haar tande in ‘n fles te bêre en sop van seewier te kook. En sy is altyd besig met iets en het geen tyd om met hom te speel nie. Een oggend sluip Noi uit op soek na avontuur. Maar dan breek ‘n storm op, die gety kom in, en hy probeer sy pad na Ouma se huis terugvind. En dan oortref Ouma al sy verwagtinge!
Dis ‘n pragtige verhaal van ‘n kleinkind en sy ouma wat ‘n hegte vriendskap ontwikkel terwyl hulle windverwaaide voëltjies red.
It is summer and Noi will be visiting his Grandmother, but is not sure if it is such a good idea … Grandma Bird does odd things like keeping her teeth in a flask. And she has little time to play with him. One morning he slips out of the house in search of adventure. When I great storm brews, he tries to find his way back. But Grandma comes to his rescue.
A beautiful story about a grandchild and his grandmother becoming friends whilst saving a few rain-drenched birds.
