When Lorraine’s life fatefully intersects that of Alfie Geemooi, a recent amputee, she comes up with a hell of a plan.

The author: David Cornwell is a novelist, screenwriter and musician. Booker Prize winner Damon Galgut described David’s debut novel, Like It Matters, as “grittily realist and acutely observed”.
